Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert
Our private five-day travel from Fes to Marrakech via the Merzouga desert starts with a professional driver/guide picking you up from your preferred location in Fes in a clean, air-conditioned vehicle.
The first stop will take place at Ifrane, a picturesque city known as “The Switzerland Version City” because of its Alpine-style buildings. Later on, you will make another stop in the Atlas Mountains‘ cedar forests, which are home to a colony of “Barbary Macaques.”
Following lunch close to Midelt, you will traverse the breathtaking Atlas Mountains, the Ziz palm valley, and, in the late afternoon, the magnificent Merzouga desert. The first night should be spent at a quaint riad.

Day 2: Explore Merzouga Desert & Camel Trek
You will spend the most of the day touring the Erg Chebbi dune field and the desert region of Merzouga after enjoying a revitalizing breakfast in your riad. The first destination will be the “Khetrras” aqueducts, which are close by and use an antiquated method of delivering water to the oasis by running a stream via wells.
After traveling to Khamlia via the settlement of Merzouga, take a tour of the dunes and stop by a local nomadic family that resides in a tent. It is a highlight as you will discover more about their distinct lifestyle.
You will witness the magnificent sunset while trekking on a camel along the golden dunes in the afternoon. Before you go to your opulent desert camp, where you will spend the second night in your private tent, take some time to take in the scenery and consider going sandboarding.

Day 3: Merzouga – Erfoud – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
